PostHeaderIcon Make up tips for pale skin, long dark brown hair and olive green eyes?

I have a tough time finding cosmetics that suit my features. My eyes are neither light or dark, my skin is pale and my hair is a dark brown.

If I use brown eyeshadow, then I look washed out.

Any tips on how I can bring out my dark green eyes without over doing the make up would be fantastic…

Thankyou!

I am sure you look great with natural make up. But if you wish to look a bit un noticed, then I suggest with your pale skin, doll like rosy cheeks would suit you. It is however difficult to know as I cannot see of your skin tone has a yellow or blue base. This is not so say you look blue, but what I am saying is that the tone of your skin has a basic tone. You might be winter, summer or autumn… Meaning if you are summery, yet pale, your skin tone is warmer, therefore a yellow red lip stick would suit you better than a deep red blue based red lip stick…
But from what you are saying- green eyes – you can emphasise them beautiful eyes by a dark brown eye liner, not too much, just close to your eye near the lashes at the top.
If you want eye shadow, use smoky metallic black or if softer- a shade of grey. And don’t forget your eyebrows…
And with that effect, use nothing on your lips apart from a plump up lip booster lip gloss. Such as Ann Summers. Yes they are usually tacky but this one they’ve done right!
You sound stunning!

actually burgundy or darker purple brings out green eyes! you can put a tan or natural skin color on your lids and if you put the plum in the outer corner (the area where number 3 is on this diagram: http://www.teamlegion.net/jroseonline/images/FOTD_rflush02.jpg and only around the actual 3! only a tiny bit in the crease! hope that helps!
